North Charleston is the third-largest city in the state, by both area and population.  Historically overshadowed by Charleston and written-off as an industrial suburb where the airport is located, North Charleston has transformed into an eclectic and bustling town where locals frequently flock to in order to avoid tourists.  One of the most popular parts of town is known as Park Circle, built around - you guessed it - a large circular park surrounded by tons of green spaces, restaurants, breweries, and shopping.  This area of town is easily navigable by bicycle and even has one of the area’s most popular frisbee golf courses!  Residential areas are a good mix of mid-century homes and newer neighborhoods, all encompassed by plenty of sidewalks for enjoying the beautiful Lowcountry outdoors.
